My favorites on the web.
Check out the Pixies, probably the best band ever at:
The greatest band to come out of Chicago is Eleventh Dream Day; check them out at their current label's site:
http://www.alternativetentacles.com/ offers not only music, but politics, culture and a look at the world through Jello Biafra's perspective. Biafra, for those who don't recognize the name, was the leader of the great punk band The Dead Kennedy's.
I've loved Michael Moore since
Roger and Me came out. He's only improved with time and who knows what the state of television would be if his
TV Nation show would have survived corporate censorship. There are also great links to other alternative sites.

For an offbeat look at life, check out
www.cockeyed.com don't worry it doesn't have anything to do with the first four letters!
Ok, so I'm a special eduation teacher and I'm supposed to be empathetic, which I am. We do need to blow off steam at times, just like the folks at this site which offers a funny, if inappropriate, but accurate look at life in the "special" classroom. I literally fell out of my chair as I read this site for the first time.

Can't stand Dubya? Neither can I or the folks at this site. A hilarious look at the current residence (ha ha George) resident in the White House. They've got many great pages to link to lampooning the entire right wing takeover of the government, media and religion in the United States.

A good site for professional information on behavior disorders. The Council for Children with Behavior Disorders is a subdivision of The Council for Exceptional Children. Check it out:

http://www3.govst.edu/n-battaglia/doe/ The link to the Division of Education at Governors State University; I am enrolled in the Multicategorical Special Education program and already completed the Educational Administration program. Good for me, right!
The right wing has Reader's Digest, the intelligent among us go to
http://www.utne.com/ for the real perspective on the world. Remember, it was John Stuart Mill who said "While all conservatives are not stupid, all stupid people are conservative."
